Maybe bug but rather suggestion.
When I am in some category, like in Vehicles and I am adding new item, why I have to select category? Logically category Vehicles should be selected automatically.

I think this works correctly on my board, I could reproduce it only here.

If you are in a "leaf node" i.e. the lowest category possible then you are not prompted. If however you click add an item when you are in a top level category that does not support adding items then you will be asked for the category.
