Custom fields per category is indeed an option and allows what you have described.

It is also possible to provide different advert durations and restrict those to specific user groups. It is not, however, currently possible to limit the number of adverts that can be posted by a user group.

RSS imports are not currently a feature of classifieds. It is possible, however, to create a custom converter to import classifieds from other products.

Guest listings are not currently supported in IP.Classifieds unfortunately. Users must be registered members as the contact method relies on the PM system.

You only need to set up packages in Classifieds. Please make sure any added packages are also set as "active". If you continue to experience problem, please send me a PM with an admin login so I may check.
